With the summer timetable, starting, from June 13th until July 31, 2021, the Catania-Syracuse railway line closes for modernization works. The connection will be guaranteed by bus service as specified when booking on Trenitalia's website. Beside the temporary bus service of Trenitalia many public busses of Interbus and AST are always running between Catania and Siracusa.
