The international airport Falcone-Borsellino of Palermo, Punta Raisi (PMO) is connected to Palermo and other Sicilian destinations by regular bus lines. Here, below, are the main public transfers run by private bus lines :

Bus transfer Airport Falcone-Borsellino <=> Palermo

The service is carried out by Prestia & Comandè bus lines  and connects the airport of Palermo with the central train station (last stop). The run lasts about 50 minutes and there are 9 bus stops before the last stop at the train station. During peak times the frequency of busses is one every 30 minutes. The first bus departs at 5 am and the last at midnight. It is also possible to book the tickets online. The tickets cost € 6,30 for one run. Otherwise it's also possible to buy the tickets on the bus or at the ticket office at Palermo airport. The complete timetable and the updated fares are published on the website of Prestia & Comandè bus lines (also in English language). There it's also possible to download a smartphone app to follow the position of the busses in real time.

Palermo is connected to the airport also with the Trinacria Express train. A lot of hotels offer also private transfers to the airport for their guests.

At the exit of the aiport it is also possible to take a taxi (from 6 am to midnight). The taxi fare from Palermo airport to cental train station is about € 45.

Bus transfer from Palermo airport to other destinations

Regular bus lines connect the airport also to other destinations:

  • Trapani (Autolinee Segesta): 2 runs per day, at 12.30 pm and 7.30 pm. It takes about 1h10m and the ticket costs € 9,60
  • Agrigento and Porto Empedocle (Autolinee Sal): only on working days, 2/3 runs per day. It takes about 2h30 to Agrigento, the ticket costs € 12,60.
  • Menfi / Sciacca / Ribera (Autolinee Gallo): only on working days
