This year, the festival arrive to its 73rd edition and will take place from March 3rd to 11th, 2018. A lot of visitors don't know that this famous festival is already held at the beginning of February but it's in this month that in Sicily, thank to its mild temperatures, the spring awakening begins. The countryside is filled with delicate almond blossoms and the famous valley of the temples of Agrigento offers a wonderful panorama. Every year new events were added to the festival and nowadays it also comprehends the international folklore festival (62nd), the festival of the "Children of the world" (17th edition), typical sicilian carriage parades. The almond blossom festival will be a moment of brotherhood between different cultures.
