Syracuse and surroundings guided tours

Hermes Sicily Tours is a group of tour guides based in Syracuse which cover southeastern Sicily with their services. Beside private tours, available all around the year, during the summer months and Christmas period, Hermes guides organize also shared group walking tours in Syracuse and surroundings. Shared group tours are a good choice for solo travellers or families travelling on their own as it's possible to take part at a sighseeing tour, lead by a professional guide, paying only a participation fee.

Syracuse guided tourHermes Sicily's group walking tours take place during the high season, usually from mid June to mid September and during the Christmas period. A new program with the scheduled tours is always published about 1 month before the activity starts.

Usually the visits are small-group tours with maximum 15-17 participants but often about 10 people or less. The explanation is in English and Italian language. The participation fee varies depending the tour and there is a reduction for children under 14 years and free participation under 6 years. Depending the itinerary there can be additional entrance tickets to the monuments, not included, unless otherwise specified. Meeting with the guide is always at the starting point of the itinerary. Prebooking is required at least 24 hours before starting. The visit takes places with minimum 6 participants.
